Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway sells $25M of BYD shares

According to a recent filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange, Warren Buffett’s investment firm, Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:), recently divested 820,500 Hong Kong-listed shares of electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Co (SZ:) for approximately HK$201.73 million ($25.78 million).

As a result of this transaction on October 25, Berkshire’s ownership in BYD’s issued H-shares decreased from 8.05% to 7.98%.
