Edgewell Personal Care expects higher sales and earnings in fiscal 2024, which started Oct. 1.
The maker of razors and feminine-care products is looking for sales to rise 1% to 3% from the 2023 total of $2.25 billion, slower than the 3.9% growth rate in the prior year. Organic sales are projected to rise 2% to 4%.
Earnings are forecast to come in at $2.20 to $2.40, up from $2.18 a share in the previous fiscal year. That figure includes restructuring repositioning charges, acquisition and integration costs, reformulation in its sun care business.
Excluding one-time items, the company is expecting adjusted earnings of $2.65 to $2.85 a share.
The macro-environment remains challenging and uncertain in the new fiscal year, but the company is still set to raise its top line and expand margins, Chief Executive Rod Little said.
