Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Paris, the lost 0.10%, while the index climbed 0.15%.

The best performers of the session on the were Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:), which rose 2.04% or 1.14 points to trade at 57.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:) added 1.66% or 1.18 points to end at 72.06 and Bouygues SA (EPA:) was up 0.90% or 0.33 points to 36.96 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alstom SA (EPA:), which fell 2.33% or 0.28 points to trade at 11.73 at the close. Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:) declined 1.99% or 1.92 points to end at 94.48 and Thales (EPA:) was down 1.78% or 2.55 points to 140.70.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Air France KLM SA (EPA:) which rose 2.81% to 9.99, Ipsen SA (EPA:) which was up 2.60% to settle at 106.40 and Valneva (EPA:) which gained 2.49% to close at 3.42.

The worst performers were Vusiongroup SA (EPA:) which was down 6.15% to 128.20 in late trade, Nexity (EPA:) which lost 5.59% to settle at 9.46 and CGG SA (EPA:) which was down 4.59% to 0.41 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 318 to 190 and 100 ended unchanged.

Shares in Bouygues SA (EPA:) rose to 3-years highs; up 0.90% or 0.33 to 36.96. Shares in Nexity (EPA:) fell to 5-year lows; down 5.59% or 0.56 to 9.46.

The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.13% or 2.95 to $2,188.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $77.94 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.23% or 0.19 to trade at $82.27 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 102.43.
