Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the rose 0.05%, while the index gained 0.20%, and the index lost 0.91%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vonovia SE (ETR:), which rose 2.79% or 0.75 points to trade at 27.64 at the close. Meanwhile, Bayer AG NA (ETR:) added 2.07% or 0.55 points to end at 26.82 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (ETR:) was up 1.61% or 0.21 points to 13.01 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Continental AG O.N. (ETR:), which fell 4.53% or 3.18 points to trade at 66.96 at the close. Brenntag AG (ETR:) declined 2.76% or 2.22 points to end at 78.08 and Zalando SE (ETR:) was down 2.52% or 0.48 points to 18.57.

The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which rose 6.80% to 25.62, LEG Immobilien AG (ETR:) which was up 5.07% to settle at 75.90 and Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which gained 3.31% to close at 124.90.

The worst performers were Gerresheimer AG (ETR:) which was down 2.96% to 101.70 in late trade, Aixtron SE (ETR:) which lost 2.72% to settle at 25.43 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 2.42% to 33.10 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which rose 2.63% to 17.97, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was up 2.12% to settle at 57.90 and Qiagen NV (ETR:) which gained 1.13% to close at 41.26.

The worst performers were 11 AG (ETR:) which was down 2.72% to 16.48 in late trade, Aixtron SE (ETR:) which lost 2.72% to settle at 25.43 and ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which was down 2.57% to 5.53 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 319 to 278 and 49 ended unchanged.

Shares in Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.61% or 0.21 to 13.01.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 6.47% to 13.83.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.15% or 3.25 to $2,188.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $77.92 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.21% or 0.17 to trade at $82.25 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 102.42.
